The Ga South Municipal Assembly is set to undertake the Second Quarter 2026 Monitoring Exercise on the usage of the District Data Development Platform (DDDP) as part of efforts to strengthen data management and promote evidence-based decision-making within the Municipality.

The exercise is expected to assess the level of implementation, data accuracy, and effective utilization of the platform across various departments and units of the Assembly. Officials will monitor data entry processes, review reporting standards, and engage staff on challenges affecting the smooth operation of the DDDP system.

Management of the Assembly has reiterated the importance of timely and reliable data in supporting planning, policy formulation, and service delivery. Staff members are therefore expected to ensure consistency in updating the platform to enhance efficient monitoring and development tracking within the Municipality.

The upcoming monitoring exercise forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to promoting digital transformation, accountability, and improved governance through the effective use of technology-driven data systems.
