The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a government programme under the Ministry of Education established to mobilize graduates aged eighteen (18) years and above for national development. The scheme deploys graduates to public and private institutions to enable them to apply the knowledge acquired during their tertiary education while gaining practical work experience.

As National Service Personnel posted to the Ga South Municipal Assembly, you are expected to contribute meaningfully to the work of the Assembly and uphold the values of discipline, commitment, and professionalism throughout your service period.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) welcomed National Service Personnel to the Assembly and commended staff for their continued dedication to duty. He assured the personnel of the Assembly’s commitment to providing a supportive working environment and promoting staff welfare. The MCE encouraged all service personnel to uphold high standards of professionalism, discipline, and teamwork, and to contribute positively to the realization of the Assembly’s development objectives. He further briefed the personnel on key administrative procedures within the Assembly and emphasized the importance of effective communication and collaboration across all departments.

Service personnel are advised to comply with all Assembly regulations, report promptly to their assigned departments, and maintain regular attendance throughout the service year.
