On Wednesday 30/10/2019, the two Assemblies met to resolve the long-standing boundary issue. The outcome of the meeting was the formation of a committee comprising of members from both Assemblies. The leadership of Ga South and Awutu Senya East Municipal Assemblies are keen on resolving the issue by the close year 2019.

Both Assemblies believe that if this issue is solved within the shortest possible time, it will help maximize revenue to support the development agenda in the boundary communities especially and their overall Municipalities.
